Job summary

UL Solutions in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to lead HVAC design, testing, and certification initiatives for client projects. You will define scope, plan investigations, determine cost, time, and sample requirements, and coordinate with laboratories and field staff.

You will communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, timelines, and compliance with UL requirements; promote services, resolve issues, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
• 5+ years of HVAC design, testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently determines project scope, plans investigations, and defines cost, time, and sample needs.
• Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, and timelines; promotes services.
• Coordinates laboratory activities and assigns work to staff; ensures on-time completion.
• Develops test programs and UL requirements; reviews files and manufacturer information.
