UL Solutions in Plano, TX is seeking a seasoned HVAC design and project management engineer. You will independently determine project scope, develop a preliminary investigation plan, and define cost, schedule, and sample requirements by analyzing client input and UL requirements.

The role requires frequent travel to client sites, proactive client communication to explain UL procedures and project costs, and coordination of laboratory activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC design, testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Independently determines project scope and prepares plan based on client input and data.
• Promotes and explains UL procedures and requirements to clients.
• Coordinates laboratory activities and manages project teams.
• Prepares data sheets, reports, and follow-up service procedures.
• Resolves engineering issues and proposes UL requirement updates.
