Job summary

CGL is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems for our clients in Georgia. The role involves working with environmental controls, boilers, air handling units, and associated equipment on-site.

You will document all work in our CMMS and adhere to safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and is capable of reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years HVAC maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Experience with CMMS data collection and documentation.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in state of residence.
• Willing and able to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• HVAC-related equipment knowledge across systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective HVAC maintenance per CMMS work orders.
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC machinery and equipment (motors, pumps, belts, air handling units, VAV).
• Ensure safe operation of systems and compliance with safety standards.
• Inspect work for conformance with local codes; supervise subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace during and after tasks; complete required training.
