Job summary

CGL is hiring an HVAC Technician in Hawkinsville, GA to perform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance and select installs at client facilities. You will work with environmental controls, boilers, pumps, and air handling equipment, following CMMS work orders and safety standards.

The role requires blueprints literacy, 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license; on-call duties may be needed and training on site will be provided.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• EPA 608 Certification required; HVAC certification preferred.
• DL/driver's license in state of residence.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Microsoft Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and some corrective maintenance to HVAC equipment per work orders in CMMS.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains components like VAVs, air handlers, boilers, pumps, fans.
• Maintains safe operation of systems and documents work per CMMS.
• Diagnoses environmental control systems using inspection and testing techniques.
• Learn facility layout and operating procedures for environmental controls.
• Escort subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Provide training support and mentorship as needed.
• May require driving company or personal vehicle for site work.
