Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems for our clients. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, while ensuring safe operation and compliance with environmental controls and building codes.

You will interpret blueprints, collaborate with clients, and support on-call shifts. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 certification are required; HVAC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years’ commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment and related trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Willing to work on-call shifts.
• Microsoft Office skills required.
• Certifications may be required.
• Must communicate well with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective HVAC maintenance as per CMMS work orders.
• Install, repair and maintain HVAC machinery and related components.
• Ensure safe operation of systems and environmental controls.
• Diagnose problems using inspection and testing methods.
• Learn facility layouts and operating procedures for controls and monitoring systems.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company/OSHA standards.
• Inspect completed work for code compliance.
• Escort subcontractors during on-site work.
• Mentor other technicians when needed.
• Possibly drive company or personal vehicle for job duties.
