Job summary

ISS Guckenheimer seeks an HVAC Technician to operate, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing chillers, boilers, AHUs and related equipment, along with documenting maintenance actions.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, Universal EPA Certification, and 2+ years of journeyman HVAC experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• 2+ years HVAC journeyman level operation.
• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience in HVAC and refrigeration.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and codes.
• Ability to read P&IDs, floor plans, electrical diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, pumps, valves and actuators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Repair/replace defective parts and controls.
• Operate hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Maintain records of time, labor, and materials; report as required.
• Collaborate with team and project groups as needed.
