Job summary

North American Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC service technician to service and repair commercial systems, including boilers, air-handling equipment, and chillers.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and prepare documentation using the NAMI operating system. The role requires an associate degree or HVAC apprenticeship, or 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, plus EPA refrigerant recovery certification and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or HVAC apprenticeship completed; or 5+ years in commercial HVAC service.
• EPA-certified refrigerant recovery certification required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repair on commercial HVAC systems including boilers and DX systems.
• Routine maintenance on HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components and equipment.
• Prepare reports, material orders, and documentation using NAMI's system.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and build client relationships.
• Support a team-oriented Service Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
