Job summary

The Auraria Campus in downtown Denver seeks an experienced HVAC Technician II to operate, maintain, repair, install, and modify HVACR systems across classrooms, offices, and labs. The role involves monitoring building automation and low-voltage controls to ensure safe, efficient campus operations.

Responsibilities include corrective and preventive maintenance, system troubleshooting, and collaboration with contractors, with a schedule Mon–Fri 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional HVAC experience.
• Education/experience combination equivalent to three years.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, and diagnoses HVAC equipment using controls to identify issues.
• Repairs or replaces HVAC equipment with appropriate tools and parts.
• Maintains a safe, orderly work area and disposes of damaged parts.
• Tracks work orders in the TMA system and documents activities.
• Communicates repair status to customers and coordinates with contractors.
• Assists with emergency response and snow removal as needed.
