Service Experts is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work on residential and light commercial equipment at customer locations. You will troubleshoot, service, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and accurate reporting via handheld devices.

Role requires EPA/safety certification, valid driver's license, and ability to work in varied environments.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 1-2+ years’ experience
• Must possess licensing/certifications as required by local laws
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Proficient at servicing heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct systems
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied environments

Responsabilidades

• Works under general supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed
• Delivery and removal of parts/equipment needed to complete service work
• Records all required information on customer call using hand-held device; completes forms accurately and collects payment
• Communicates with dispatch to ensure accurate status reports
• Delivers excellent customer service and sustains high customer satisfaction
• Promotes products/services and provides leads for replacement product sales
• Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are properly accounted for
• Represents the company professionally and ethically
• Follows procedures; maintains stocked vehicles; returns defective parts; orders supplies as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned; maintains regular attendance
