Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hopkinton, MA, is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and refrigeration systems across client facilities. You will troubleshoot HVAC equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and lead related tasks under the Chief Engineer.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with on-site responsibilities and competitive compensation. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience, EPA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of HVAC/R maintenance experience in commercial/industrial buildings.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification and EPA HVAC/R credentials.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot problems on mechanical equipment including large HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment with regular testing of HVAC and instrumentation systems.
• Diagnose and repair air-cooled and water-cooled condensers, replace faulty parts and restore heat transfer.
• Service walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigerators and ice machines, replacing components as needed.
• Execute system evacuations, pull deep vacuums, identify micro-leaks and recharge refrigeration systems to specs.
• Inspect systems for hazards and ensure compliance with codes; maintain CMMS/BMS documentation.
