Job description

Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of HVAC systems at the Journeyman level within large, complex, and critically controlled environments. Works independently or in teams to ensure proper HVAC operations and compliance with tenant and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Journeyman-level HVAC maintenance, repair, installation, and diagnostics
• Service refrigeration, air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, and dehumidification systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance (filters, cooling towers, coils, etc.)
• Fabricate and install ductwork and HVAC components
• Install and connect compressors, motors, controls, fans, and panels
• Test systems for pressure, vacuum, and refrigerant leaks
• Charge systems with refrigerant and verify operating pressures
• Replace electrical components (thermostats, breakers, wiring, switches)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Perform general building maintenance related to HVAC and electrical systems
• Comply with safety, PPE, and confined space requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive hands-on experience in commercial or industrial HVAC environments
