Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, based in Conroe, TX. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related building equipment, configure controls, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, accurate documentation, and collaboration with facility partners to sustain reliable operations and customer service excellence. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.
• Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling equipment, or related trades.
• Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and related building equipment following technical plans and codes.
• Configure and calibrate digital controls, building automation, and low-ambient HVAC applications to meet operational standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting HVAC and facility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, inspections, parts usage, and service activities.
• Operate company vehicles safely to complete service calls within assigned regions.
• Collaborate with management and partners to support operational efficiency and compliance.
