Job summary

LaPlante Electric Inc. in Scarborough, ME is seeking a full-time entry-level HVAC Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot, install, and repair various HVAC systems, working with traditional HVAC components and ductless heat pump systems.

This position offers a 7:30 AM to 4:00–5:00 PM schedule, weekday hours, and opportunities to learn from experienced technicians. Background checks and pre-employment drug testing apply; degree or apprenticeship in HVACR/electrician tech preferred.

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR HVAC TECHNICIAN

The Schedule

This is a full-time entry-level position with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 or 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods.

Your Role

As an entry-level HVAC Technician, your day will involve troubleshooting, installing, and repairing various systems. You'll work with traditional HVAC systems, electrical components, and ductless heat pump systems. You'll be working alongside experienced technicians who will support your learning and development.

Our Requirements

• HVACR/Electrician Technology Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent apprenticeship experience
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to take responsibility for your work and perform tasks with integrity and reliability

Must be able to pass a background check. We also conduct pre-employment drug testing. Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
