Job summary

LaPlante Electric Inc. in Scarborough, ME is seeking a full-time entry-level HVAC Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot, install, and repair various HVAC systems, working with traditional HVAC components and ductless heat pump systems.

This position offers a 7:30 AM to 4:00–5:00 PM schedule, weekday hours, and opportunities to learn from experienced technicians. Background checks and pre-employment drug testing apply; degree or apprenticeship in HVACR/electrician tech preferred.

Qualifications

• HVACR/Electrician Technology degree, certificate, or apprenticeship.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to take responsibility for your work and perform tasks with integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC systems.
