Job summary

DSG Supply in Plymouth, MN seeks an HVAC Technical Service Advisor to support customers and DSG Sales Team with technical knowledge across DSG product lines. This role involves factory training, certifications, and collaboration with factory technical support groups to ensure proper product selection, installation, and warranty actions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required) and college degree in related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry or related field.
• High level of analytical ability to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources and find solutions to technical problems.
• Ability to analyze problems, propose reasonable solutions, make logical decisions, carry out decisions and follow-up with feedback.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to lead others and engage with customers and vendors.
• Ability to plan, analyze, prioritize, and organize work under pressure and deadlines.
• Strong general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge for assigned DSG product lines to customers and sales team.
• Maintain product knowledge via factory trainings and certifications.
• Serve as interface with factory technical support groups for product selection, installation, commissioning, diagnostics, corrective action and warranty assistance.
• Support Market Segment Business Development Manager to identify market needs in product areas.
• Structure and present training sessions on market needs, including in-house or onsite presentations, trade shows, demonstrations, or classroom training.
• Additional duties as assigned.
