Job summary

Gensco, Inc is seeking an HVAC Technical Support Specialist Supervisor to join our Technical Services Team at the Corporate Office in Tacoma, WA. This role leads inside administrative and service support, mentors team members, and drives high-quality HVAC support for customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retail HVAC with Dealer service background.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and high degree of personal integrity.
• Ability to use tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations.
• Able to operate personal computer, calculator, other office machines and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout the facility.
• Able to lift or carry equipment, supplies and inventory on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of inside administrative and HVAC service support for both Customers and Team Members.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and potential Customers.
• Assist Customers and Team Members with HVAC equipment support, communication of product information, product and service training, warranty claim fulfillment, and factory support.
• Perform a wide range of leadership responsibilities including delegating work, coaching Team Members, and developing metrics to evaluate performance.
• Demonstrate personal integrity and a strong work ethic while ensuring a safe work environment.
• Promote a positive and safe work culture and support Team Member development plans.
