Job summary

Medxcel in Milwaukee at Columbia St/ Mary's Hospital - Milwaukee Campus is seeking a part-time Facilities HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.

You will apply knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, energy management systems, and safety protocols; respond to after-hours emergencies; coordinate with staff on work orders; and participate in meetings and training as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification (Level II preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of trade school.
• 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and follows safety protocols using PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel on work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
