Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking an HVAC Team Lead in Chantilly, VA to mentor a service team and leverage strong HVAC expertise. The role focuses on diagnosing equipment, leading rooftop HVAC work, and sustaining customer relationships while growing regional service demand.

The candidate should have an HVAC-focused associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship, strong communication skills, and knowledge of Building Codes, ASHRAE standards, and OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical training with HVAC certificate or apprenticeship experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to write reports and business communications.
• Good knowledge of current Building Codes, ASHRAE standards, and OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues, test components, disassemble and repair rooftop HVAC units, DX systems, and control systems.
• Inspect work for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of HVAC Technicians.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers; develop service estimates to grow the business in the region.
• Coach and develop the HVAC team to deliver excellent service.
