Job summary

ColonialWebb seeks experienced HVAC Service Technicians for its Chantilly Building Services team. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large commercial HVAC systems and related controls on site in Chantilly, VA.

Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, a history of servicing industrial HVAC equipment, and a Journeyman’s license (preferred) with working knowledge of OSHA regulations. A company vehicle and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Strong ability to diagnose, repair and perform maintenance on complex HVAC systems and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of breakdowns; test parts with appropriate instruments; disassemble and assemble parts; perform necessary repairs to HVAC equipment.
• Maintain and service medium to large sized HVAC systems and control systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

A day in the life:

Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systemsDiagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to HVAC equipment and associated components

You should have:

• Work experience as a HVAC Service Technician with a specializationin troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment
• Highly skilled at diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and related controls
• Applicable Journeyman's license (preferred, but not required)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulationsEOE M/W/Disability/Vets
