Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform operations and maintenance of HVAC systems across client facilities in Georgia. Responsibilities include startup, regulation, and repair of equipment, monitoring controls, and maintaining logs.

The role requires troubleshooting electrical systems, keeping safety devices functional, and coordinating with subcontractors. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge relating to operation and maintenance of hot water heaters, boilers, steam systems and all associated rotating equipment.
• Preferred knowledge relating to troubleshooting electrical systems including panel boards, transformers, motor control centers, emergency generators and safety disconnects.

Responsibilities

• Start up, regulate, repair and shut down equipment and monitor meters, gauges, and controls to ensure safe, economical operation.
• Use hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance from overhauls to replacing defective components.
• Record events and facts concerning operation and maintenance in an equipment log.
• Routinely check safety devices and correct any trouble.
• Provide project supervision of subcontractors and assist in status reports.
• On-site involvement in soliciting proposals as necessary.
