Job summary

Cobb EMC is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot corporate facilities and essential building systems. You will support employees, contractors, and customers with responsive service, following a Monday–Friday schedule with 4–10 hour shifts (6am–5pm).

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining HVAC/refrigeration systems, performing preventive maintenance, creating work orders, and documenting activities while ensuring EPA

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in commercial HVAC service and/or installation.
• Current EPA universal refrigerant handling certification.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration/HVAC theory.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain HVAC/refrigeration systems, ductwork, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and ice making equipment.
• Create work orders, enter data, and close out as completed.
• Complete relevant paperwork and documentation.
• Recover refrigerants as required and maintain EPA-compliant records.
