Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support the construction sales team in building systems projects.

You will assist with pre- and post-sales activities, prepare proposals, and help manage project scope, cost, and schedules. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Visio; Adobe Writer; Windows OS.
AutoCAD experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Support construction sales team with pre- and post-sales activities for building systems projects.
Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and cost estimates in collaboration with sales.
Manage project P&L and ensure on-time delivery per contract and customer expectations.
Coordinate material orders, delivery, and subcontractor relationships to meet schedules.
Communicate project progress and financial status to management; review vendor invoices for compliance.
