B&I Contractors, Inc. in Florida is seeking an experienced HVAC Start Up and Warranty Technician to join our expanding team on large commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field experience, a technical degree, EPA/OSHA 10 cert, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will install and service duct systems, DX piping, chilled water piping, thermal storage, and building automation systems while coordinating with the office and customers. Qualifications

• Proven experience with at least 2 years of field experience with a track record of quality workmanship.
• A 2 year Technical College Degree or equivalent Trade School Diploma preferred.
• EPA and OSHA 10 Certification Required.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be competent in installation and service practices for duct systems, DX piping systems, chilled water piping systems, thermal storage systems and building automation systems.
• Clear Driving Record, Drug Test and Background check are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as described.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service and repair mechanical equipment including HVAC and related systems.
• Competent in installation and servicing of duct systems, DX piping, chilled water piping, thermal storage and building automation systems.
• Communicate clearly with office and customers about issues, repairs and project timelines.
• Perform tasks with precision, following safety and quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies as they emerge.
