Carrier is seeking a Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist for Modernizations or Controls, based in Louisville/Cincinnati. You will pursue large opportunities, build relationships and manage plan/spec and design/build projects, including direct-to-owner opportunities.

Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at customer service, and are results-oriented with strong presentation and negotiation skills, supporting growth in the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC sales or industrial sales experience.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and work safely on rooftops.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in Commercial HVAC.
• Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions.
• Manage complex multi service proposals.
• Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities and opportunity pipeline.
• Demonstrate well developed sales skills to include expert awareness, commercial acumen and integrity.
• Seek out and access new Modernization opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships.
• Create compelling presentations and communicate effectively.
• Detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly.
• Manage multiple activities and workflow to meet objectives on time.
• Anticipate future trends and adapt quickly to gain the order.
• Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets.
• Create high quality timely estimates, bids & proposals including cost-benefit analyses.
