Job summary

Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Hawaii is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will handle diagnostics, refrigerant work, and preventive maintenance, while building customer relationships and delivering accurate field estimates.

You will work independently with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Certification (current and in good standing).
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors/at heights.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common AC system issues (boards, motors, capacitors, sensors).
• Perform preventive maintenance (filters, coils, drain pans, belts).
• Read electrical diagrams to support diagnostics and repairs.
• Generate field estimates and present repair options to customers.
• Document service calls in Service Titan (findings, parts, refrigerant tracking).
