Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc. is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II to service commercial and industrial equipment, including rooftops, chillers and boilers.

You’ll receive comprehensive training through in-person, online, and on-the-job programs, and work with cutting-edge technology to diagnose issues and deliver efficient solutions. You will lead Level I technicians, participate in regional trainings, and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree or technical HVAC certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC or related industry.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Certification: EPA Universal Technician preferred; OSHA 10 preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial HVAC equipment and components.
• Inspect and service fan coils, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftop units, cooling towers and condensers.
• Identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Perform warranty service by inspecting and testing systems for functionality.
• Direct Level I technicians during troubleshooting and repairs.
• Participate in regional training and Daikin Learning to develop skills.
• Record billing, timecards, inventory and related reports; keep the customer updated.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow OSHA and company safety policies.
