Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment at client sites in Florida. You’ll service rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling units while guiding Level I technicians and contributing to customer communication.

Qualifications

3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Rotational Emergency Call Support as required.
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
Service includes rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling components.
Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting steps.
Provide customer status reports before, during, and after calls.
Maintain certifications and develop new skill sets through Daikin Learning.
