Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a full-time Service Technician II in Valley, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers, while mentoring Level I technicians.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
• OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training considered a plus
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial HVAC equipment
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring related to rooftop units, air handling units, chillers and boilers
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks
• Lead Level I technicians through troubleshooting and repair steps
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and service reports
• Maintain safety standards and a clean work area
• Interact with customers and explain technical information clearly
• Participate in Daikin training and earn required certifications
