Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a Service Technician II in Atlanta, GA. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling units.

This role emphasizes safety, hands-on troubleshooting, and customer communication. You will mentor Level I technicians, document work orders, and participate in ongoing training to expand your skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related HVAC field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Rotational emergency call support as required by operations.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred; OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including logging units, cleaning coils, replacing filters and belts, and lubricating components.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring in fan coils, water-source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers and condensers.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent premature breakdowns and callbacks.
• Record, bill, and report time, inventory and technician notes in a timely manner.
