Job summary

Service Experts Champaign is seeking an HVAC Service Technician II to diagnose and service residential and light commercial equipment. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete satisfaction while promoting our products and services.

Under supervision, you will travel to job sites and perform preventative maintenance and repairs with precision. Requirements include 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA and safety certifications, a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years HVAC experience and technical training certificate.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigeration systems.
• Willing to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnoses and services heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Communicates with dispatch and promotes products and services to customers.
