Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a residential and light commercial HVAC technician in Champaign, IL. Under general supervision, diagnose, service, and maintain heating and cooling equipment, communicate with customers, and promote products and services.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years HVAC experience, EPA and safety certifications, and a valid driver's license. Annual compensation ranges from $52,200 to $66,500 plus incentive opportunities; comprehensive benefits including PTO,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC experience and technical training certification.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Must have 2+ years HVAC experience with servicing and diagnostics.
• Strong reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve customer problems professionally and timely.
• Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment to identify problems and prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as required.
• Transport and deliver parts and equipment for service work.
• Record all call details on handheld device and handle paperwork neatly.
• Coordinate with dispatch to report status and availability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and sustain high satisfaction.
• Promote products and services and relay leads to Sales/Service Coordinator.
• Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools; ensure proper use and stock.
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all matters.
• Follow procedures and ensure vehicle stocked; return warranty parts as needed.
