Job summary

HomeWorks Energy seeks an HVAC Service Technician I to diagnose, repair and maintain residential HVAC systems, including start-up commissioning on new units. You will also advise customers on energy efficiency and replacement options, while delivering excellent service.

The role requires performing routine maintenance, working with diagnostic tools and CRM logging, and collaborating with the sales team on replacements. Competitive hourly wages include overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires EPA 608 certification and clean driving record.
• 3+ years in residential HVAC service with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and smart thermostats.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform routine PM tasks and seasonal tune-ups.
• Conduct system start-up commissioning on new units.
• Educate homeowners on options and energy efficiency.
• Document service work accurately and maintain CRM records.
