Job summary

HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems in customer homes. You will perform start‑ups, calibrations, and testing, ensuring safety and efficiency while providing clear explanations to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC training, and EPA 608 certification, with 2+ years of related experience. Local travel and a full‑time hourly schedule with overtime are included.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of HVAC experience with start-up/commissioning focus.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain HVAC systems in customer homes.
• Perform system start-up, testing, troubleshooting and calibration.
• Document service activities and update system records.
• Communicate operation and maintenance procedures to customers.
• Collaborate with installation teams and management to complete projects.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
