Homeworks Energy is actively seeking an HVAC Service Technician I to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. You will also sell replacement systems and perform start-up commissioning on new units, delivering energy‑efficient solutions to customers with a service‑oriented mindset.

The role requires strong problem solving, customer service, and the ability to work in diverse environments, with a full-time schedule and overtime opportunities. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC technician in residential settings.
• EPA 608 certification is required; OSHA 10 is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagnose complex HVAC issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, ACs, heat pumps, and ductless units.
• Perform routine maintenance, coil cleaning, filter changes, and inspections.
• System start-up commissioning and tuning for newly installed units.
• Provide replacement estimates and educate customers on options.
• Maintain clear, professional communication and documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and local regulations; collaborate with other teams.
