Job summary

HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician I to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose complex problems, and provide efficient solutions to ensure customer comfort.

The role also involves selling replacement systems and performing start-up commissioning on new units. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of residential HVAC, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to service

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• NATE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on residential HVAC units.
• Perform system start-up commissioning for newly installed HVAC units and verify proper operation.
• Assess needs and provide replacement options; collaborate with sales to close replacements.
• Explain technical issues clearly to customers and maintain accurate service documentation.
