Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an HVAC Service Technician I in Richmond, VA. Under supervision, you will diagnose and service residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, answer customer questions, and promote our products and services.

The role requires EPA safety certifications and a valid driver’s license, with full benefits and growth opportunities. You will work under a Field Supervisor or GM, perform routine maintenance, and ensure complete customer satisfaction through professional,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 1–2+ years’ experience in HVAC.
EPA and safety certifications required.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.

Responsibilities

Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
Inspect equipment and diagnose potential problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
Deliver excellent customer service and promote products and services to customers.
Complete required paperwork and collect payments.
