Job summary

Service Experts LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. You will diagnose issues, answer customer questions, and promote products and services while delivering exceptional service.

You will work under supervision, training is provided, and ample advancement opportunities exist. A high school diploma/GED, EPA safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ HVAC experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspects and performs limited diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Delivers and removes parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Assists the Service Technician in servicing HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Uses a handheld device to record all required information and completes forms and paperwork neatly and timely.
