Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Richardson, TX is seeking a Service Technician I. This entry-level role requires little to no prior knowledge and works under close supervision to assist with routine residential and light commercial service and maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.

You will diagnose, service heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, perform diagnostics, maintenance and paperwork, and communicate with dispatch to ensure accurate status updates,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls under supervision.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional manner.
• Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and paperwork neatly and on time.
• Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates.
