Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – HVAC to support our growth in North Carolina. You will assist senior technicians, perform preventive maintenance contracts, and troubleshoot and repair light commercial HVAC equipment.

The role requires addressing complex electrical systems, reading mechanical drawings, and maintaining thorough equipment logs. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex high and low-voltage electrical systems; read wiring schematics.
• Understanding of large unitary packaged equipment over 25 tons, SWUD units, VRF, chillers, heat pumps, VFDs.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior HVAC technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance contracts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light commercial equipment.
• Replace belts and filters; identify anomalies in HVAC equipment.
• Log equipment data and upload to database; complete paperwork accurately.
