Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – HVAC to support our growing team in the United States. You will assist senior HVAC technicians, perform preventative maintenance contracts, and troubleshoot/maintain light commercial equipment.

Applicants should have universal EPA certification, 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have universal EPA certification.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex high and low-voltage electrical systems and read wiring schematics.
• Thorough understanding of large unitary packaged equipment over 25 tons, VRF, air handlers, and related components.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior HVAC technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance contracts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light commercial equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as belt/filter changes and identify anomalies.
• Log equipment data including refrigerant and electrical circuits.
• Braze, perform leak checks, and evacuate as needed.
• Communicate with Team Lead, Coordination Staff, Sales Staff, and customers.
• Complete project logs and upload to database.
• Complete tasks with minimal call-backs and be responsive to supervision.
