Job summary
Mandolin HVAC & Construction LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. You should have EPA certification, enjoy teamwork or independent work, and take pride in delivering quality results with a positive attitude.
You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and communicate effectively with customers while using Service Titan and standard safety
Qualifications
- Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
- EPA Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues; perform routine maintenance.
- Replace defective components using proper tools and safety protocols.
- Run service calls efficiently using Service Titan (or be willing to learn).
- Provide on-site customer education, collect payments, and set expectations.
- Conduct system inspections and recommend improvements.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
- Collaborate with dispatch, parts runners, and senior techs for support.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
