Job summary

Tryg Group LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for commercial and light industrial systems in the Denver Metro area. You will perform service, maintenance and repair on boilers, chillers, pumps, rooftop units, and water-sourced heat pumps, with on-call rotation every 10 weeks.

Applicants should have 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal license, and a low voltage license. You will be dispatched from home to job sites and report to the service manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License.
• Low Voltage License.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and light industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair on commercial and light industrial HVAC systems.
• Work with boilers, chillers, pumps, and various cooling/heating units.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers about issues and solutions.
• Report to service manager/supervisor.
• Dispatched from home to job site; office handles dispatching.

HVAC Service Technician - Commercial | $40.00 to $60.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 4:00pm

• On-call rotation, once every 10 weeks

Position Overview

• Performing service / maintenance, and repair on commercial and light industrial heating/cooling, and ventilation systems
• Boilers, chillers, pumps, AC, Rooftop, split system, and water sourced heat pumps etc.
• Communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to commercial customers and coworkers
• Reporting to TRYG service manager / supervisor
• Providing outstanding service to our customer
• Dispatched from home to job site
• Office dispatches all technicians

Qualifications / Skills

• 5 + years of HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
• Low Voltage License
• Experienced at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of commercial and light industrial equipment
• Work form 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Understand and communicate benefits of preventative / annual maintenance
• Advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to commercial customers and coworkers
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner
• Familiar with air balancing principles and techniques
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Certification of completion from an HVAC Technical School is desired
• High school diploma or equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
