Job summary

TRYG Group LLC is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for commercial systems in the Denver area. This role involves service, maintenance, and repair of boilers, chillers, pumps, and various HVAC equipment across commercial sites.

You will communicate clearly with customers and coordinate with the service manager for efficient operations. Applicants should have 5+ years of HVAC experience, an EPA Universal License, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License required.
• Low Voltage License desired and/or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair on commercial/light industrial HVAC systems.
• Work with boilers, chillers, pumps, rooftop units, split systems, and water sourced heat pumps.
• Clearly communicate issues to customers and coworkers.
• Report to service manager/supervisor.
• Dispatched from home to job sites; office dispatch handles routing.

HVAC Service Technician - Commercial | $40.00 to $60.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 4:00pm

• On-call rotation, once every 10 weeks

Position Overview

• Performing service / maintenance, and repair on commercial and light industrial heating/cooling, and ventilation systems
• Boilers, chillers, pumps, AC, Rooftop, split system, and water sourced heat pumps etc.
• Communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to commercial customers and coworkers
• Reporting to TRYG service manager / supervisor
• Providing outstanding service to our customer
• Dispatched from home to job site
• Office dispatches all technicians

Qualifications / Skills

• 5 + years of HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
• Low Voltage License
• Experienced at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of commercial and light industrial equipment
• Work form 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Understand and communicate benefits of preventative / annual maintenance
• Advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to commercial customers and coworkers
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner
• Familiar with air balancing principles and techniques
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Certification of completion from an HVAC Technical School is desired
• High school diploma or equivalent
