Description

J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is a trusted provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services throughout Western Pennsylvania. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems and equipment, including forced air systems, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and related components
• Perform thorough preventative maintenance services and seasonal tune-ups to maximize system performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Communicate clearly and honestly with homeowners regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and available solutions
• Recommend system upgrades, replacements, accessories, and additional services when appropriate to improve comfort, efficiency, and overall system performance
• Identify opportunities to upsell services and system enhancements while building trust and long-term customer relationships
• Assist with or perform HVAC system installations as needed
• Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally
• Track HVAC repairs, maintenance, and completed work within ServiceTitan
• Maintain compliance with company standards and applicable safety regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building trust and rapport with homeowners
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience required
• EPA Certification required (EPA 608 Universal preferred)
• NATE Certification is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven diagnostic and repair abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build trust and establish rapport with homeowners
• Experience using ServiceTitan preferred
• Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record
