Job summary

J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Residential HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

You'll manage preventive maintenance, troubleshoot furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and air conditioning equipment, and educate homeowners on repair options. This role emphasizes quality workmanship, reliability, and long-term client trust.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification required (EPA 608 Universal preferred).
• NATE Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and related equipment
• Educate homeowners and clearly explain repair options and recommendations
• Recommend system upgrades, replacements, and comfort solutions when appropriate
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Utilize ServiceTitan to document work and manage customer communication
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every call
