The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters and ductwork.
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options.
- Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices.
- Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately.
- Maintain tools, company vehicles, and equipment in proper working conditions.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, local, and state codes.
- Deliver excellent customer service and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or technical training preferred.
- EPA Certification; 2+ years of experience in HVAC Service, maintenance or installation preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoor spaces).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- $65K-$150K (hourly, plus commission)
