Job summary

Frederick Fox is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems in the Winston-Salem area. The role emphasizes strong technical skills, customer service excellence, and independent field work.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Company vehicles and tools are provided to support field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade/technical program (associate degree is a plus).
• EPA certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, and furnaces.
• Diagnose system issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable local codes and industry standards.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Complete service documentation, reports, and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to promote safety, teamwork, and accountability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
