Job summary

Channell Heating & Cooling is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our service team in Hazlehurst, MS. The role offers hourly pay plus commission and emphasizes diagnostics, repairs, and customer-focused service.

Qualified candidates have 1–5 years of HVAC installation experience or an HVAC degree/certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. EPA Type II is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• EPA Type II (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs.
