Job summary

Roberts Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join its growing team. This in-person role offers hourly pay plus commission and a clear path to higher earnings with no salary cap.

The job emphasizes diagnosing and repairing HVAC/refrigeration equipment, providing value to customers, and ongoing safety and manufacturer training. Candidates should have 1–5 years of HVAC installation experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience preferred.
• HVAC degree or trade certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem‑solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment

Who You Are

• 1-5 Years HVAC installation experience preferred
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
