Job summary

Cii Service of Central Virginia is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Harrisonburg, VA service team. We offer an entrepreneurial culture with strong incentives for great performance and opportunities for industry training.

You will service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs and rooftop units, while maintaining professional client communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Master or journeyman HVAC license preferred.
• 5+ years of HVAC service experience.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, RTUs, and split systems.
• Repair and replace defective equipment and wiring.
• Test joints and electrical components for leaks and continuity.
• Communicate professionally with clients, team, and office.
• Apply HVAC knowledge to service tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, and split systems
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring of multiple devices
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks as well as electrical circuits and components for continuity
• Constant and professional communication with clients, all team members, and office
• Effectively use knowledge of the principles of HVAC equipment

Qualifications and preferred experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Master or journeymen license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in servicing HVAC equipment
• Exceptional troubleshooting and customer service skills
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Valid driving license and clean driving record, required
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings during employment
• Ability to pass a background check
